Rachel AKA Maridah is a cosplayer of more than 18 years. She got her start in Dallas, learning costume making at the Arts Magnet as a teen. Over the years her work has been featured in books, magazines, tv shows and online articles. In that time, she has worked for companies as an official model for various video game characters and costume retailers.

Rachel currently works for an Indie video game developer in NYC and lives in Connecticut with her husband Kevin AKA HayabusaKnight, who collaborates with her to photograph her cosplay projects. In her free time she runs a cosplay blog, making guides for new cosplayers to learn from and creating digital cosplay sewing patterns for the community.
